Nothing in the world like good, grade B, pure maple syrup! I am lucky enough to have a Trader Joe's very close to where I live. Despite its $14 price tag, this stuff is worth every single penny!

I got to spend the day in Seattle with an amazing group of friends... 12 of us altogether! We were blessed with sunshine, blue skies, and warm weather. We ate downtown, shopped, rode the monorail, enjoyed one another's company. Couldn't have asked for a better day!

I went to a wedding in a beautiful church in Tacoma today. I couldn't help but notice the beautiful flower behind the speckled glass of one of the church windows. It was such a wonderful ceremony, filled with lovely people!

My husband and I met up with some friends for lunch today at a local Chinese restaurant. We all eagerly opened our fortune cookies at the end and this was mine. As a side note, one of the friends we were with said, "You know it's better if you add 'in bed' at the end of any fortune." We were laughing so hard. Even funnier... my husband's fortune said, "You will receive a promotion soon." Make of THAT whatever you will! :-)
